Choir students headed to Europe

Six Lima Senior High School current and former choir students are part of this summer’s Ohio Ambassadors of Music and will be performing across Europe.

Current students going will be Jayden Donald and Jaylen Donald, who will be seniors this coming school year, and Ella Brayton, who will be a junior. They will be joined by 2019 graduate Connor Brayton, 2018 graduate Zaylin Nutt and 2014 graduate Addison Brayton.

Lima Senior Choral Director Amy Phillips will also be on the trip.

Ohio Ambassadors of Music is a band, choir and orchestra that will tour for 16 days across Europe with stops in England, France, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Austria, Italy and Germany.

Students are nominated by directors to participate in the trip. Voyageurs International is in its 49th year of organizing Ambassadors of Music trips for students across the US.

There is a send-off concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 16, at Hilliard-Davidson High School on Sunday, June 16.

Along with performing, students will also see the sights with guided tours led by expert docents
