Lima Senior High School senior Dalonte’ Manley is this year’s Lima winner of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Scholarship.
Manley was recently recognized at a banquet in Troy.
The scholarship goes to the African American male with the highest academic standing at the school.
Manley is president of one of the school’s DECA chapters and was recently elected Executive Vice President of Leadership Development for Ohio DECA. He is involved with The Ohio Youth-Led Prevention Network and is a prevention specialist at UMADAOP. He was this year’s Homecoming King.
Manley plans to major in education with long-term goals of becoming a college professor. His dream is to attend Howard University.
