Lima Senior High School saw great results at last weekend’s Ohio YMCA Youth & Government High School State Assembly in Columbus.

The school took 37 students who presented 20 different bills they had written. Of the 20 bills, 13 passed through committee and 10 of those passed on the full floor of the House.

Below are those teams of students that saw bills pass on the House floor.

Also, Reilie Lyons served as President Pro Temp of the Senate, a position she was elected to by the entire delegation last year.

Two Lima Senior students ran for executive office this year.  Jeremiah Dew will be auditor and Quinn Gable will be attorney general for next year’s delegation.
