The Lima Senior High School DECA program will be represented by eight projects (15 students) at the International Competition April 21-24 in Atlanta.

Students competed at the state level this past weekend to qualify for Internationals.

 

Below are the final results. All these will go onto the next level:

1st Place – Public Relations Project – Spread Jada’s Joy – Otisha Calhoun, Jalinda Houston and Tatyanna Talbert

2nd Place – Cameron Harris-Johnson – Hotel and Lodging Series Event

4th Place – Bryce Binkley – Principles of Finance

4th Place – Community Service Project – Big Spartans Little Spartans – Amiah Allen, Syrus Mason and Kate Woods

School Based Enterprise – Received GOLD – Nur-Huda Muhammad, Kiara Buchanan and Preshus Lowe

Thrive Competition – Dalonte Manley, Kylee Mell and Ta’lor Washington

5th Place – Business Services Operations Research – Reilie Lyons, Kiara Buchanan and Preshus Lowe

5th place – Hospitality & Tourism Operations Research –  Dalonte Manley, Kylee Mell and Ta’lor Washington

 

The following projects placed in the top 10 at state, but just missed qualifying to continue on:

Entrepreneurship Promotion Project – Cole Brinker, Quantay Robertson and Justin Stewart

Hospitality & Tourism Professional Selling – Nur-Huda Muhammad
