Career Tech students headed to state contests

Several Lima Senior High School Career Tech students will be heading to state contests next month after successful competitions last week.

Interactive Multimedia students Amy Dubuque placed first and Alyssa Bucher placed second in the Digital Publishing category at the Regional Business Professionals of America competition. Schools learned results of the competition earlier this week.

Dubuque and Bucher will now go on to represent Lima Senior and Region 16 in the State BPA Competition March 8 and 9 in Columbus

 

Dubuque also placed third in the Graphic Design Promotion. Peter Fike took home fifth place.

 

More than 40 DECA students are advancing to the state competition March 9 and 10.

Students participated in the Ohio District 3 competition last week. Along with those headed to state, several additional Lima Senior students made the podium at Districts and came very close to advancing.
