Year after year, the Lima Senior High School DECA program has proven just how good it is with students excelling at competitions.
Apparently, the tradition will continue this year.
Students won 23 trophies at the first competition of the year, the DECA District 3 Fall Leadership Conference held Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Ohio Northern University.
Students competed in various events with 11 chapters from area high schools. Listed below are the students who placed in the top 5 in their events and received trophies.
One student, Dakota Stocker, placed third in Public Relations, an event that qualifies him to compete for the PR State Officer position at the State Fall Conference in Columbus in November.
