Lima Senior Lady Spartan basketball player Rion Thompson has verbally committed to play at Bowling Green State University. The Division I school is in the Mid-American Conference.
As a junior last year, Thompson led the Lady Spartans in scoring, averaging 23.1 points per game. She earned 2014 Three Rivers Athletic Conference First Team, Northwest District Division I First Team and Division I Second Team All Ohio honors.
