After much anticipation and speculation, Spartan point guard Xavier Simpson has announced that he will play basketball for the University of Michigan next year.
Simpson made the annoucement surrounded by his family and teammates and in front of a large crowd of friends, school staff and media.
Simpson came to Lima Senior last school year, following his dad, Quincey Simpson, who was named head basketball coach. He was the Division I 2015 Co-Player of the Year 1st Team All State, 1st Team All Three Rivers Athletic Conference, Northwest Player of the Year, District 8 Player of the Year, Dream Team Player of the Year, and is a Four Star Recruit.
