Eleven Lima Senior High School Marketing DECA students will compete at the international level in May after finding success at this past weekend’s State Conference.

This is the largest number of students Lima Senior has ever had quality for the international competition.

The following students are headed to the International Career Development Conference May 1 in Atlanta:

Brad Stubbs – Principles of Hospitality and Tourism, second place.

Brandon Shadley – Principles of Finance, third place.

Brandon Sutter and Kristina Engberg – Hospitality Services Team Decision Making, second place.

Chris Proby and Malik Cowan – Entrepreneurship Promotion Plan Chapter Project, first place.

Mike Holobaugh, Casey Stidham and Mildred Henderson – School Based Enterprise Project, gold medal.

Aaron Reed, Casey Stidham, Mike Holobaugh – Financial Literacy Promotion Project.

Jake Meyer – School Based Enterprise Project.

Aaron Reed – Vice President of Leadership Development for Ohio DECA.

Many of Lima Senior’s DECA students did well at the state contest. The following placed in the top 10 and received recognition and medals on stage:

Jamir Townsend and Josh Gunn – Advertising Campaign.

Aaron Reed, Mike Holobaugh and Casey Stidham – Financial Literacy Promotion Project.
Ashley Ridenour – Principles of Business Management & Administration.

Lauren Calloway – Accounting.

Mara Zell and Rashad Butler – Sports & Entertainment Team Management.
